Location

Batote is located at 33.10°N 75.32°E. It has an average elevation of 2,006 metres (6,584 feet).

It is located on the National Highway from Udhampur to Srinagar. while driving from Udhampur it comes after the tourist spot of Patni Top, which is also its boundary with Udhampur District. After Patni top it is a sharp descent to Batote. Just before Patni top is the town of Kud. Batote has some agricultural land and is near the Chenab river.

Major Attractions

Close to the resort lies the Chenab Gorge and the Patnitop Mountain Range. The region is covered with coniferous forests.

Trekking is possible to the mountains of Patnitop and Sanasar. The tourists may also traverse through the coniferous forest.

The resort has all amenities and facilities for the foreign and the Indian tourists. The eco-friendly huts of the resort have well furnished dining and drawing rooms. How to Reach

This place is one the National highway connecting Jammu and Srinagar and is well connected thus. Buses plying to all Destinations viz. Srinagar,Doda Bhaderwah,Kishtwar etc. pass through this resort. The buses are

available from General Bus Stand Jammu. One can also hire taxis from Jammu which ply on predetermined rates. Ideally one can visit this resort while visiting Patnitop. This place is approx 15 Kms beyond Patnitop on the National Highway.
